Connect Your Device to Capture
Connecting a Laptop, Tablet, Phone or Other Media Device
Capture allows you to capture images from another source and directly import them into Sketch or Flow. When the image comes up on the input that you want to use by tapping on the image with the pen. This opens the source image to full screen. Once you have done that you can the drag a box around the specific area you want to capture.
Mobile Device
To connect your phone, tablet or computer to the big wall, simply open up capture. Then turn on either AirPlay or AirParrot (or similar services), find the name of the network that the big wall is connected to (at our LA showroom it’s called “big screen”). Click on the network and connect. Once it’s connected, you’ll see the image from your device up on the screen. From here you can bring the entire feed or selections of it into other software on the we-inspire system, including Sketch, Flow, Microsoft Office and Adobe software suite.
HoyluWall and Connecting to Laptops or Other Media
The HoyluWall comes a capture card. This card allows you to connect a laptop or other media device to the HoyluWall directly. When the device is connected you can see the screen of the device on the HoyluWall. Once it’s connected, you’ll see the image from your device up on the screen. From here you can bring the entire feed or selections of it into other software on the Hoylu system, including Sketch, Flow, Microsoft Office, and Adobe software suite.
There are several ways to connect external devices:
1 It is possible to connect several video cables directly to each projector and simply switch to a different input
2 Using an additional capture card and the capture application it is possible to show your devices screen on any projector without having to switch projector inputs. In addition you can take screenshots from any device. This can also be done wirelessly when combined with an Apple TV.
3 It is possible to use common screen-sharing tools like TeamViewer or Lync to connect and share screens from other devices
