When setting up a Pull Plan, you may need to customize your own list of Variance Reasons for your participants to explain why a Task was marked as Incomplete.

Adding a Variance Reason
- Open the Control Center by going to the top left corner of the Workspace and click on the arrow beside the Workspace Title
- Click on the Variance Reasons section
- Click on the Add Variance Reason button on the bottom right of the popup
- Choose an Emoji
- Click on the Name field and type the Variance Reason
- Click Create
If you are an admin of the Workspace, you are able to add Variance Reasons on the fly, and they will also appear on the main Variance Reason list in the Control Center.
- Mark a Task as Incomplete
- Scroll down on the Variance Reasons list
- Click on + New Variance Reason
- Choose an Emoji
- Add a Name for the new Variance
- Click Create
Modifying a Variance Reasons
- Open the Control Center
- Click on the Variance Reasons section
- Choose a Variance Reason you want to modify
- Click on the pencil icon on the right hand side of the Variance
Deleting a Variance Reason
- Open the Control Center
- Click on the Variance Reasons section
- Choose a Variance Reason you want to delete
- Click on the checkbox on the left of the Variance
- The Remove button will appear on the bottom of the popup
Deleted Variance Reasons can still be accessed on this list by clicking on the eye icon on the top right corner of the popup and can be restored by clicking on the respective checkbox and clicking on the Restore button that will appear.
