Import XER File into the Project Database

1. Click on the pie chart icon on the top left corner of a Workspace to open the Project Insights or click on Open Insights button in the Project Dashboard
    
2. Switch the dropdown on the top left corner from Charts to Activities
    
3. Click on the Import XER button
    
4. Browse your device to choose your desired XER file
    
5. Deselect the Workspace filter so all the Activities will appear in the Activity Report

✏️  Note: This is the same process to follow when reimporting an updated XER file to the Project Database.

Import Activities into a Plan

1. Click on the down arrow next to the Workspace Title
    
2. Click on Import live elements from project...
    
3. Use the Task Type filter dropdown to find Activity and/or Activity Milestone
    
4. Use the date range to narrow down the window for your import
    
5. Use the search bar to further narrow down the search
    
6. Click the Import Selected (#) button
    
7. Drag and drop the imported Activities to the Swimlane(s) of your choice (they will automatically adjust themselves to their correct dates on the Plan)
