- Creating a new Agility Ticket
Import Wizard Features
- Click on the Import button on the top left Menu Bar in any Workspace and select the Agility Integration
- Refer to the Agility End-User article for how to retrieve the Agility token and paste it into the popup
- Use the Planning Leve, Portfolio Item, Asset Type, and Team scrollbars to narrow down your import selection
- You can use the Search bar to manually type in the item - You can use the up/down arrows next to the Name, Number, Asset Type, and Portfolio Item fields to sort the results
- Use the topmost checkbox to select all or use the checkboxes to the left of each individual item to add it to the bulk import list
- If you are trying to import items from multiple searches, make sure you import selections from one page at a time - You can use any of the dots on the left side of the items to drag your selections directly into the Workspace or click the Import button on the bottom right corner of the window
- Your Import from Agility wizard will minimize and snap to the top left hand side of your Workspace screen, and you can click on the box to reopen the wizard
Create & Modify Tickets and Dependencies
- The item icon type and its ID will display on the top left of the ticket
- The Title and its Description will display below
- If the item has upstream or downstream dependencies, icons with arrows pointing either to a square or out of a square will appear on the top right
- Owner will appear as a owner icon on the top right
- Additional tags for status, estimates, etc will appear on the bottom right
Creating a new Agility Ticket
- Drop any shape or sticky and type in the title of the new ticket you’d like to create
- Confirm the changes made to the sticky note
- Open the note icon on the left of the context menu
- On the dropdown menu, select Send to Agility
- Select your desired Asset Type and Scope for the item
- Wait a moment, and the sticky note will transform into a Jira ticket
- You can do this for a group of objects as well, just use a Selection tool to select all necessary items to send to Jira
Modifying an Agility Ticket
- To make any changes to the information on the ticket, double click on the ticket
- If you are a Workspace admin, you can change what fields you can see on the ticket view and the popup view by clicking on the gears icon on the top right hand corner
- Anything that you can edit within the popup will appear in a lighter gray field
- Once you make your modifications, make sure to click the Save button to upload the information back into Jira
- Hoylu will close the ticket popup and you will see the modified information in the Agility ticket
Note: You are able to change the following fields in Hoylu however, there may be limitations of the editing capability of Hoylu on some fields, in particular, if there is some custom behavior defined for them in the linked Agility instance:
- name/title
- acceptance criteria
- status
- scope
- super/epic
- timebox
- team
- estimate points
- duration
- owners
Dependencies
If your ticket has dependencies in Jira, the upstream/downstream dependency icon will appear, and you can either jump to the location of the dependency in the Workspace or import it if it is not in the Workspace yet.
Import a Dependency into the Workspace
- To import a dependency, click on the dependency icon
- Identify which dependency you’d like to bring into the Workspace and click the import button
- Hoylu will import the Jira ticket next to the original ticket
Jump to a Dependency in the Workspace
- To jump to a dependency in the workspace, click on the dependency icon
- Identify which dependency you’d like to navigate to in the Workspace and click the destination icon
- Hoylu will bring you to the page where that dependency is located and highlight it for you
