Embed YouTube Videos
Usually employed by facilitators as a supplement for workshops, you can bring in YouTube videos for everyone to either watch together or on their own time. Each user in a Workspace will have an independent view of the video, unimpeded by any other users.
Video 1. Embedding a YouTube Video into a Workspace.

Open YouTube to choose a video to embed

Copy the browser link to the video (do not copy the embed code)

Open the Workspace in which you wish to embed the video

Right-click on an empty area of the Workspace
- Click the Paste option that appears
Embed Google Maps

Open Google Maps to pinpoint an area or location you wish to embed into a Workspace

Click on the Share button within the Overview tab

Click on the Embed a Map tab in the new window

Use the dropdown on the left to change the size of the map

Click the Copy HTML button

Open the Workspace in which you wish to embed the video

Right-click on an empty area of the Workspace
- Click the Paste option that appears
Embed Office Documents
You are able to import documents into Hoylu, but if you are concerned your file may be too large, use the embedded portal option to bring in a window to the document so your participants can reference the material, while maintaining the same sharing permissions of your Sharepoint document.
Video 3. Embedding Office documents into a Workspace.

Open the Sharepoint document in an internet browser (do not try this from the desktop application)

Click on the File button on the top left corner
- In the submenu, click Share

Click Embed

Modify the options of your embedded portal as needed

Copy the embed code

Open the Workspace in which you wish to embed the portal

Right-click on an empty area of the Workspace
- Click the Paste option that appears
🚧 Caution: Remember that the permissions of the document will be upheld in the Workspace, so you may need to use the Manage Access option to allow additional participants to view the document.
