How are the workspace weights calculated?
Workspace weights are calculated based on both which elements are used and how often, with more complex elements requiring more credits. So as an example, a Hoylu task or a table will require more credits than a note or a stroke.
How can I reduce how many credits I am spending?
To reduce your credit weights, you can tidy your Workspaces by removing extraneous elements or delete unused Workspaces altogether.
How often/when are weights updated?
Credits are recalculated whenever a Workspace is opened. You can find your percentage indicator on your user marble at the top right corner of your Dashboard.
Do hidden workspaces count against my cap?
Yes, hidden workspaces do count against a user's credits. Workspaces must be deleted from the Dashboard, rather than hidden, in order to free up credit usage.
How can I get more credits?
You can upgrade to the Hoylu Plus Plan, which includes unlimited credits. If your team would like to discuss pricing for a Project or an Enterprise Subscription, please contact us at Sales@Hoylu.com.
What options do I have to get Hoylu for a whole team?
Your team can benefit from either a Project-based license or an Enterprise license. To learn more, click here.
Does the credit limit affect Project workspaces?
Projects are their own separate license and so consequently, a Project Workspace does not count against your personal credit limit.
Why would I choose a Project over an individual subscription?
Sometimes Projects require the collaboration of outside contractors who may not need Hoylu outside the scope of the project at hand. For users that do not need a full, individual subscription, Projects allow a user's Hoylu access to be managed by the project itself for seamless Workspace sharing.
Are there discounts for researchers/academics?
Please reach out to our sales team at Sales@Hoylu.com for more information.
What will happen to existing Plus Plan users?
Existing Plus Plan users can continue to use Hoylu like before and at the same price.
What does "LIMITED" mean?
If you are above your credit limit, any affected Workspaces will be shown as "LIMITED." You can still open and change these Workspaces, however, it would no longer be possible to add additional elements.
What does "INACTIVE" mean?
If a Project is past its end date, any affected Workspaces will be shown as "INACTIVE." You can still open these Workspaces in READ-ONLY mode.
