This release makes your workspaces more visual, more flexible, and better aligned to your master schedule. We’ve added powerful new ways to manage labels, simplify shapes and connections, and ensure your imported schedules stay on track.

🎨 Label Categories: Colors, Visibility & Quick Switching

A more powerful way to manage and use labels in your workspace.

• Category Colors → Assign a color to each category for instant recognition.

• Gradient Display → Labels inherit a fade from category color to label color.

• In-Label Dropdown → Switch between category values directly on the label.

• Visibility Options → Choose Always, On Hover, or On Selection for each category.

• Search-Friendly → Hidden labels still appear in search and focus results.

• Jump to Swimlane → Arrow icon shows if a label links to an existing swimlane.

⬛ Shape Handling & Connection Types

Smarter tools for cleaner diagrams.

• Rotate 90° (Shape Only) → Rotate the shape while keeping text upright.

• One-Click Shape Switching → Swap shapes directly from the main toolbar.

• Connection Dropdown → Clearly switch between Line or Dependency.

• Line Options → Toggle between Straight or Curved.

• Dependency Types → Select directly in menu.

🛫 Launchpad

A new way to get started in an empty workspace.

• Auto-appears whenever a workspace has no content.

• Quick actions:

  • Start a new plan from scratch

  • Import a schedule (CSV or XER)

• Smart memory → Remembers the last imported file on your device for easy continuation.

📅 Master Schedule Alignment

Bring your master schedule into Hoylu and keep it in sync.

• Automatic Plan Creation → Generate plans and swimlanes based on your import settings.

• New Activity State (❄️) → Frozen tasks that can’t be changed but trigger warnings if drift occurs.

• Linked Tasks → Create subtasks, predecessors, and successors with smart auto-connections.

• Focus Mode for Activities → Quickly spotlight activities with warnings.

• Replanning with Reasons → Move frozen activities when necessary and capture the “why.”

• Reports & CSV Export → Export activities with IDs, actuals, and reasons for updating your master schedule.
