Figure 1. Hoylu's Project Insights.
Project Insights allows users the ability to see the Charts of selected Workspaces within a Project Folder for the purpose of cross-workspace reporting. This is done using the Hoylu Nexus, which synchronizes the Insight Panels of selected Workspaces, which will also synchronize Teams, Variance Reasons, and Labels as an added benefit. Only Admins are able to synchronize to the Nexus, and at this time, no information about Tasks will pushed from the Nexus into Workspaces.
Upload to Nexus
Figure 2. Synchronize to Nexus from the Main Menu.
-
Click on the Main Menu down icon on the top left corner
-
Click on Nexus Sync
-
Click on Start Sync
- Once Hoylu loads and tells you how many elements it will synchronize, click the Synchronize button
Once you return to the Project Folder Dashboard, you will see the updated reports, as seen in Figure 2. Use the filters to see Task by Status, PPC, and Variance Reasons across multiple synchronized Workspaces and open up the Task List to see all the Tasks. Further narrow down the view by filtering by Team, Assignee, Status, Label, and Workspace. Don't forget to refresh the Charts using the refresh icon on the far right to have the most updated, synchronized information!

😎 Pro-Tip: Synchronized workspaces will have the Nexus symbol on the top left corner of the Workspace Tile so you can always identify which Workspaces are part of the reports.

Resolve Conflicts in Nexus
In the event that the synchronized Workspaces have a few discrepancies with Teams, Variance Reasons, and Labels, the Nexus will be able to resolve them and update the information in the Workspace the next time it is synchronized.
Figure 5. Resolve Team Conflicts.
To resolve a conflict between two Workspaces, for example Team Names, Short Names, and Color as seen in Figure 3:
- Open the Nexus Sync from the Main Menu
-
Click on Start Sync
-
Review and choose with which of the conflicts to move forward
- Click on the Resolve Conflict button
These types of conflicts can occur if colors weren't consistent for Teams and Labels across Workspaces, for example. However, in the event that two different electrical teams are participating in the project (but at different phases), Hoylu will remind you to make sure the Team Names are distinct for example, so the Project Insights display the correct information.
