Import a Plan

Importing a Plan is a one-step way to generate a ready-to-use Plan directly from Task data already in the Project, rather than building one manually. The Plan is created with Task Cards already placed at their correct dates — a faster alternative to importing Tasks individually and then building and configuring a Plan around them separately.

1. Click on the down arrow beside the Workspace Title
    
2. Click on Create plan from project tasks…
    
3. Choose a date range for your new Plan
    
4. Choose the import strategy
   • One Swimlane will bring all the Task cards into one Swimlane
   • By Team will create separate Swimlanes for each Team
   • By Category will create a Plan with the Category as the Plan Name and all the labels assigned to the Category will be individual Swimlanes
     • Clicking on this option will open a new dropdown for you to select the Category
        
5. Click on Import
