Import a Plan

Importing a Plan is a one-step way to generate a ready-to-use Plan directly from Task data already in the Project, rather than building one manually. Assuming there is already Project Task information, the Plan is created with Task Cards already placed at their correct dates.

1. Click on the down arrow beside the Workspace Title
    
2. Click on Create plan from project tasks…
    
3. Choose a date range for your new Plan
    
4. Choose the import strategy
   • One Swimlane will bring all the Task cards into one Swimlane
   • By Team will create separate Swimlanes for each Team
   • By Category will create a Plan with the Category as the Plan Name and all the labels assigned to the Category will be individual Swimlanes
     • Clicking on this option will open a new dropdown for you to select the Category
        
5. Click on the Import button
