Changing the status of a Task, Milestone, or Constraint is how you track its progress through the planning cycle — from first being placed on the Plan to being locked in and eventually finished.
Each status carries real consequences beyond just a label: moving to Committed locks the element in place, Complete and Incomplete are typically end states, and only certain transitions are available to regular users at each step, though a Project Admin can override this when needed. Click on the status button

Set the status to Planned so Hoylu will start to calculate PPC but still have the freedom to adjust it to another time or allow for changes in the Editor

Set the status to Committed so it is locked in place

Set the status to Complete if it has been completed
- Set the status to Incomplete to track variance and replan to another time or day
You can also change the status from within the Editor, where you can add Variance and Outcome Notes.
