Hoylu October '24 Product Release Notes

We’re excited to introduce our October 2024 product release, featuring key updates to enhance your Hoylu experience:

• P6 Import (XER File Import Beta): Streamlined import process for Primavera P6 projects with enhanced data support and less manual configuration.
• Dashboard Updates: Improved project navigation, enhanced component styling, and extended theme support for a more seamless user experience.
• Notification Beta Updates: Visual synchronization and new triggers for task movements and connections, with performance optimizations for faster notifications.

Hoylu Release Guides

Upon each release, release guides will be provided and stored in the Hoylu Knowledgebase. Specific product changes — our adaptive workspaces, integrations with JIRA, Digital.ai Agility, and so on — can be found in the Hoylu Knowledgebase. You can search our revised Knowledgebase any time — it’s available 24/7 to provide training and guidance on utilizing the innovative features of Hoylu.

October 2024 Release Overview

P6 Import (XER File Import Beta)

We are excited to announce the beta release of our XER File Import feature for Primavera P6 users. This functionality builds upon our existing CSV import with several significant enhancements:

• Simplified Process: Unlike CSV imports, XER imports do not require manual field mapping. The predefined structure of XER files streamlines both exporting and importing, speeding up the entire process.
• Enhanced Data Support: The XER format allows us to import additional project information, such as resources, milestones, and dependencies, with greater accuracy.
• Flexibility for Subcontractor Data: The importer supports different methods of defining subcontractors—whether using resources or user-defined fields (UDFs), making the process more adaptable to your existing project structure.

• Future-Ready: While the current beta offers core functionality similar to CSV import, we plan to expand support for advanced dependencies and improve milestone handling in future updates.

Please note that the CSV import will remain supported for a wider range of tools.

Dashboard Updates

Our latest update brings several technical and UX improvements to the Dashboard and Management Portal:

• Tech Upgrade for Cross-Workspace Reporting: We've unified how components are styled and reused across the dashboard and application. This foundational change prepares us for larger updates in the near future, speeding up development and ensuring consistency across features.
• Improved UX for Projects:
  • Project navigation has been enhanced based on user feedback. You can now remain in your selected project folder when navigating between workspaces, making it easier to manage workspaces within the same project scope.
  • The project page in the Management Portal has also been updated to offer a full-screen editing experience, improved collaboration management, and a detailed list of associated workspaces for each project.
  • Minor tweaks, such as a wider dropdown for longer project names and improved template descriptions, further improve usability.

• • Light and dark theme support has been extended across more components, improving visual consistency throughout the interface.

Notification Beta Updates

We've rolled out several improvements to our Notifications Beta based on user feedback and internal testing:

• Visual Improvements: Notifications are now synchronized across all screens, ensuring consistency between the notification center and the dashboard. You can also mark all notifications as read with a single click.

• New Triggers: We’ve added triggers for task changes, such as:
  • Tasks moving between columns, days, or weeks.
  • New connections added or removed between tasks.
• Performance Enhancements: Notification processing is more efficient, with a one-minute delay between triggering an action and receiving the notification, to avoid overwhelming users with too frequent updates.
• Upcoming Features: Look forward to custom intervals for email notifications and the ability to assign notifications to specific users in future releases.
