We’re excited to share updates from our latest release! This month, we’re delivering improvements across notifications, exports, project management, user settings, and usability based on your feedback. Here’s what’s new:

Notifications Move Out of Beta: Notifications are now available to all users with enhanced reliability, task alerts, and streamlined management options.
Enhanced Data Exports: Unified export tools with improved CSV and powerful XML options for paid users; outdated exports are being phased out.
Project Management Enhancements: Faster access to project settings, alerts for expiring projects, and simplified workspace assignments.
User Settings Expansion: Centralized settings for language, notification preferences, and industry-specific customization.
Usability Improvements: Better handling of empty tasks and clearer day visualizations improve overall user experience.

Upon each release, release guides will be provided and stored in the Hoylu Knowledgebase. Specific product changes — our adaptive workspaces, integrations with JIRA, Digital.ai Agility, and so on — can be found in the Hoylu Knowledgebase. You can search our revised Knowledgebase any time — it’s available 24/7 to provide training and guidance on utilizing the innovative features of Hoylu.

November 2024 Release Overview

Notifications Move Out of Beta

General Availability: Notifications are now available to all users.
Improved Reliability: Background service changes ensure notifications are saved correctly, even with future updates.
Task Assignment Alerts: Users are automatically subscribed to notifications when a task is assigned to them, including updates via email and the notification center. You can unsubscribe anytime.
"Mark All as Read" Option: Manage your notifications efficiently with a new shortcut.
Multi-Tab Sync: Notification states now sync across tabs and dashboards, making it easier to track your workflow seamlessly.
Email Template Updates: New templates ensure better readability and compatibility with dark-mode email clients.

Enhanced Data Exports

Consolidated Export Hub: All export options, including PDF, CSV, and XML, are now centralized in the main menu for better accessibility.
XML Export: A robust new option available to all paid plans, allowing for detailed data export with customizable fields like node types and metadata.
Deprecating Old CSV Export: The outdated CSV export will be sunset in the near future. Paid users are encouraged to transition to the improved options.
Updated Free Plan Restrictions: Free plans no longer include XML export and CSV exports are limited to paid plans.

Project Management Enhancements

Quick Access to Projects: Navigate directly to project settings from the dashboard with fewer clicks.
Project Expiry Alerts: Projects with less than 30 days remaining are flagged, ensuring workflows continue uninterrupted.
Workspace Assignments: Assign workspaces to projects directly from the workspace info panel without navigating back to the dashboard.

User Settings Expansion

Centralized Profile Settings: Language preferences are now stored centrally, ensuring consistency across devices.
Notification Frequency Control: Choose intervals for notification emails, from immediate updates to weekly summaries.
Industry and Role Customization: Provide your industry and role to receive tailored templates and training recommendations.

Usability Improvements

Empty Task Handling:
- Empty tasks no longer appear in the asset panel by default.
- A new "Delete Empty Tasks" option lets you quickly remove placeholders.
Improved Day Visualization: Workdays now display with a clean white background, removing confusion caused by previous gray shading.
